About the school
A tuition-free public charter middle school serving grades 6–8 in partnership with the YMCA. SKY Academy Venice weaves wellness and fitness into a rigorous academic program, and every student receives a free YMCA youth membership, free bus transportation, and before- and after-school care.
Mission
To promote pre-adolescent student achievement through the rigorous infusion of wellness and fitness strategies into the learning and mastery of the Florida Career & College Readiness Standards, preparing all students to live a healthy and productive life.
